Mud box is used to prevent the mud splashing and polluting rig floor during disassembling the drilling tools for single lay down and POOH. The mud box is the device to recycle and reuse drilling mud, keep rig floor clean, improve working conditions for operators and save the cost at the same time due to save the mud.

TECHNICAL FEATURES

v  The main structure: fixed support seat, telescopic boom, and mud box housing.

v  Large applicable range for various diameters tubular. Long telescopic stroke.

v  In round trip operations, after unfastening of iron roughneck, the top drill pipe will not lift up until clamped tightly by the mud box. Achieve mud recycling after mud box clamped, the mud box comes back after recycling. An operation cycle is done.

v  Under non-working condition, the telescopic boom stays back, and the mud box housing closes up. Then the mud box will only take a small space on the rig floor and will not interfere in operation of other equipment.
